SCALE & RUST PREVENTER PREVENT HARD WATER & SCALE Poly Guard Crystals are perfect for preventing hard water scale and iron build-up in water systems, equipment and appliances by forming a protective coating on the surface areas with continual exposure to water. Poly Guard is released through our patented refillable cartridge, which provides accurate dosage and simple replacement, allowing the crystals to slowly dissolve into your water supply. Our cartridge is compatible with most domestic filter housings, and last up to six months while treating up to 30,000 gallons of water Poly Guard Crystals are a safe and economical way to treat hard water and iron without the use of a water softener. Poly Guard sequesters up to 12 GPG (200) PPM Hardness and 1 GPG (17 PPM) Iron. One pound of crystals will treat 20,000 gallons of water. Pro Poly Guard is NSF Certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

Corrosion Control: To prevent hard water scale, Poly Guard is typically administered through the Poly Guard Cartridge. The cartridge fits 10″ standard whole house filter housings. The cartridge will hold 1.5 pounds of crystal and treat up to 30,000 gallons of water. These crystals will not dissolve completely and should be replaced in 30,000 gallon intervals or every 6 months to ensure product efficacy.
