The Reliable® model HL22 is an early suppression fast response (ESFR) sprinkler with a nominal K-factor of 22.4 (320 metric). This sprinkler is designed to respond quickly to growing fires with a high volume of water discharge to "suppress" rather than "control" fires. FM global classifies the model HL22 as a quick response sprinkler, storage and non-storage, when the sprinkler is used in accordance with FM global property loss prevention data Sheets. The model HL22 sprinkler utilizes a levered fusible alloy solder link in either 165 deg F (74 deg C) or 212 deg F (100 deg C) temperature ratings. Model HL22 sprinklers are UL listed for compliance with UL 1767 and have successfully completed high clearance tests for rack storage.
