The 3/4" 975XL2U Reduced Pressure Principle Backflow Preventer is used in high health hazard, potable water applications for protection against both backsiphonage and backpressure of contaminated water into the potable water supply. The wye pattern, bronze body is assembled with union ball valve shutoffs for easy body removal from the line, ideal for irrigation applications which require the removal of the valve during winter months.
