Reduced Pressure Backflow Detector, 10 in, Flange, 304/304L Stainless Steel

This Colt(TM) 10 inch reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It is ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as health hazards such as on fire sprinkler systems and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance. This assembly consists of a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves, test cocks, and a corrosive resistant bottom mounted pressure relief valve. It comes furnished with a cubic feet per minute meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use. This backflow assembly contains a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an add on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa(R) platform through Wi-Fi.
